Maine Naturals, 1976-88

Maine introduced staggered monthly expiration in late December, 1974 upon the official expiration date of the 1974 dated plate (there was a grace period through February 28, 1975 which most people took advantage of.) At this time, existing 1974-base registrations were assigned a new expiration month between OCT 75 and JUN 76 based on the last numeric digit on the plate, while new registrants from were issued new, undated plates which were validated with stickers expiring in the same month the next year.
These stickers are notable in that a different color combination was used for each individual month/year sticker. This run is a compilation of natural expiration plates displaying each unique sticker from JAN 76 (first natural expiration undated base) through JUN 88 (last natural expiration, black and white base was discontinued after 6/30/87).
