Puebla Graphic License Plates, 1998-present

21: Puebla

Pue Mex #TSK1805
Puebla undated passenger issue (2000 issue). Another "State Seal" issue, this one from the state of Puebla. In addition to the seal, the plate has a mountainline at the bottom, hitting all the popular components at once. This is also one of a few graphic issues to carry an embossed state name.
Pue Mex #TUM-11-77
Puebla undated passenger issue (2006 issue). Puebla had been the lone holdout using their first-generation plate with the large serial dies through the end of 2005. This plate, featuring a simple green-and-red line motif, was introduced in 2006.
Pue Mex #TXA-88-54
Puebla undated passenger issue (2010 issue). A new issue was introduced in 2010 for the Mexican bicentennial featuring a graphic of the Serdan brothers, heroes of the Mexican revolution in Puebla.
Pue Mex #TXE-74-44
Puebla undated passenger issue (2011 issue). This issue was introduced in 2011 and, again, features a simple motif with a blue band at the bottom and the state government logo at top center. The slogan "Haciendo Historia" ("Making History") is featured below the state name.
Pue Mex #TZV-30-32
Puebla undated passenger issue (2018 issue). New national standards were established by Mexico's Secretary for Communications and Transport starting in 2017, resulting in a flood of new issues. These standards dictate the placement of graphic elements on the plates, mostly restricted now to the top and bottom of the plate. Puebla's previous issue was mostly compliant, tweaks in 2018 were limited to moving the location of the PB 21 and adding a QR code to the top corner.
